  • Where are the products made?
    • All of our products are handmade to order in BC, Canada.
    • All organic lavender, flowers, foliage, seed pods, etc. that used in our products are grown and air dried at our farm in BC Canada. Fresh roses and baby's breath are the only two exception we may shop from local store when we do not have enough stock.

    • If a shipment is returned to us because you provided a shipping address that Canada Post or your preferred courier does not deliver to, you will incur the additional shipping charge for us to send it to your correct address.
  • How long does dried lavender (dried flowers) last? How to store dried lavender?
    • Dried lavender is pretty much the same as herb teas you can find from grocery stores. As long as it is kept in a cool and dark place, its freshness can be preserved for quite a long period. This principle applies to both lavender buds and stems or most of other flowers and foliage,
  • Do you grow the lavender yourself?
    • Yes, All lavender sold in our online stores are grown organically at our farm located in the Beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
  • How early should I order for my wedding?
    • For wedding needs, please refer to the "Wedding 101" on our website. Due to the natural feature of dried flowers, you literally can place orders as soon as you've made up your mind. If you prefer to receive your bouquets close to your event date, you still can place your order early and notify us your event date, we can hold your order and ship it later. It is always suggested to place orders not later than at least 1.5 to 2 months before the event date.
  • How do your bouquets hold up during shipping?
    • Dried lavender and other dried flowers are remarkably resilient during shipping when compared to fresh flowers. Unlike fresh blooms, dried flowers have already set their color and shape, eliminating concerns about wilting that are typical with fresh flowers. It's worth noting that some shedding can occur during shipping, but it's a common occurrence even with fresh flowers, as they can lose petals when transported or worn.
  • The bouquet is beautiful, but a little smaller than expected.
    • It's not uncommon to receive feedback like this regarding dried flower bouquets. It's important to note that the size difference between dried and fresh flower bouquets can be attributed to the natural shrinkage that occurs during the drying process. Generally, a dried flower bouquet, using the same number of stems, can be approximately 1/3 to 1/2 smaller in size compared to a fresh flower bouquet, depending on the specific types of flowers used. We hope this explanation helps you appreciate the unique qualities of dried flower arrangements.
  • How is the price of your organic culinary lavender determined?
    • Much like coffee beans, the price of culinary lavender can vary significantly based on its quality. Our pricing for organic culinary lavender reflects the exceptional quality of our product, stemming not only from our organic farming practices but also from the pristine condition of our soil, water, and unique location. The rarity of finding land untainted by chemicals for decades adds to the excellence of our lavender.

We've made the deliberate decision not to open our fields to the public for activities such as u-pick, weddings, and events. This choice reflects our unwavering commitment to preserving the integrity of our soil, even though it has resulted in a loss of income. Allowing visitors from external sources could potentially introduce contaminants from farms that employ pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals, substances unfortunately common in many public areas and neighborhood parks. For a thorough understanding of our lavender and practices, we invite you to explore the "About" page on our website.

Additionally, several minor factors have contributed to adjustments in our pricing:

      1. Gas prices: We rely on ride-on mowers and string trimmers for lavender field maintenance, along with manual labor.
      2. Service fees: The costs associated with platforms hosting our online store have steadily risen.
      3. Currency exchange: The Canadian dollar has weakened compared to the US dollar, the currency we reference for our product prices.
      4. General inflation has also played a role in these pricing adjustments.
